Reproduction, eat and sleep, are the three more important things for the most of the living things in our planet, but eat and sleep are more boring, so today i'll talk about the reproduction, but focused in the health field: i'm talking about the reproductive health, also known as sexual health or hygiene.
1)What is this "thing" called "reproductive health"?
The reproductive health is the "state of complete physical, mental and social well-being" but relationed with the reproductive processes.
2)What do people need to achieve reproductive health?
Like any topic that involves the human behavior, the reproduction must be analized at least in 2 different ways: from the individual and communitary views.
In first place is very important that everyone have access Information about the reproductive processes, this is very useful to make informed and free decisions about our sexuality. But just like every thing, the Information is useless if we don't have the wish of find that information. A great resource of information is our own family... so its very important speak about sex and its implications in family(inform children about this issue). But have all families acces to the information? Are all they prepared to do it? Here the communities play an important rol. For example by the modification of public policies: the sexual education in schools and health centers can be increased, and the acces to contraceptive drugs or techniques can be improved. Here the health professionals also play one of their main rolls:educate the population.

I agree with you. We will play a very important role in people's health. They will come to us scared because of the fear to be close to die, or simply because they don`t know what's going on with their bodys. So, they will listen to our advices.
ResponderEliminarBy the way, your layout is pretty cool. XD
ResponderEliminarIt is true than is very important to get access to the information, it doesn't matter how good is the system if the people don't know about it.
ResponderEliminarAll you said is very important, I agree...but I think only access to information doesn't make the difference. You can't teach someone who doesn't want learn about this issue. It's very hard because many people think this topic is private(only for family. While other people think they know everything and they don't like to talk about it. Maybe health workers should go the schools and give children special talks or workshops. This may help empopwer the children and, in turn, they will make the difference.
ResponderEliminarI think kids are the key for that. They are our future... ^^
I like it :D
ResponderEliminarI just would like to add some ways to help.
1. Go to the population who is consider "in risk" or less capable to talk about sexual education, and give the tools to do it well.
2. Give talks in the parents meetings at the school, from kinder garden. (the specking will be a health professional)
3. Makes videos talking about this, because they are cheap and easy to distribute.
